In '07 I attended both Winterfests. The one at the Badlands was definitely winterish, as the high for the day was 16, with 20-30 mph winds all day.





My new camera didn't do well with the cold, so I only got a few pics. One I did get has been a familiar sight at many WFs. Bloose broke...



Then we had pizza. They didn't run out of beer.



I was the first one in the campground at Flat Nasty.



The owner rode with his buddy in this thing on 40s, and gave me a short private tour.



They didn't get me stuck until this point...



Did some trails the next day until I discovered I was down to one bolt holding a high steer arm on.





I missed the rest of the event as I had to get home to leave for Hawaii.

In '08 I finally learned to schedule my tropical vacations a little later, so I was able to attend the entire event.

It sure looked like winter on Friday morning...
