Well..... for me... see if am going or not that'll help haha...

But my list is:
1) Buy a long arm kit
2) Get it installed
3) get 33's to put under it " got my eyes on some"

and i think that'll be enough to try and accomplish haha. But if i have time.... try to make rocksliders

Also, Red Letters :)

He is still two years away from being able to go red.

Yeah that's what i figured. but it just depends on how long it's going to take me to get enough money to get the lift and tires haha

Honestly, I say come on out with your current setup.

Trying to do a long arm install and total suspension/tire overhaul before a big trip is asking for trouble. If your rig is mechanically sound, then make the trip out, run some trails, and see what others are running. You very well may change your mind by the end of the weekend.

alright yeah we'll see.But i mean i'm still not sure if im going or not haha and i'm looking for tires on craiglist that have decant tread

Come with your stock rig!

I drove down just after my 17th b-day to NWfest two years ago when I received my first XJ as a birthday present. I brought it stock, but had a lift kit at home prior to NWFest (I was recommended to not install is and try to wheel in such a short time). I ended up hitching a ride with another guy there on the trails, had a blast and learned a lot more than I would have trying to drive my own rig with no real wheeling experience.

We've all heard the "Well I'm a good driver, and I've driven off-road before" thing, but once you get out there you may find your knowledge/experience is a bit lacking on the driving part (not saying that's what YOU are saying, but just giving an example). Nothing wrong with coming down for the weekend to see what XJs can do, and watch others abuse their rigs.
