    95 cruise

Solved. A wire had come out of a butt connection at the brake switch.

    Start and Idle intermittent issues

Faulty tps, ox sensors, coil rail, and heat soak can all cause that. The intake air temperature sensor can also cause that on later mopars, not sure about xjs.

    Convert a 2000 to a 98?

The front speed sensor was added in 98, so you are fine there, like I said you would probably have to change the entire harness. It would be quite a project.

    Convert a 2000 to a 98?

If you have entire wiring harness from the 98 you could probably make it work. The aw4 should be the same. The 00-01s definitely have some differences from the earlier ones, but chassis wise they should be the same. Probably even need the gauge cluster from the 98 though.

Latest greatest AT tire in 30x9.5r15

The geo landers are what I have found to last the longest on my mail jeep, good all around traction.

    Vibration at 55mph+

No, you were right to leave the slip yolk on because they are balanced to the shaft. It's elsewhere in the driveline.

    95 cruise

Can someone direct me to a diagnostic guide for 95 cruise? I unplugged my clock spring to splice the horn wire, and now the cruise stopped working after I plugged it back in. The horn works from the steering wheel and the aux button I put in, and 2 of the cruise wires have 12v, so I'm at a loss...

Regular maintenance schedule for a daily driver?

I use the 15w 40 most of the year, I use the 10w 30 for the dead of winter to quiet the valve clatter.

Bumpy Idle, ways to narrow it down?

Probably due for new o2 sensor and check the wiring while you are at it. Speaking of wiring, double check the looms on the back of the engine, worn wires can cause weird problems. I had a wire wore through behind the intake and it would make the engine shut off whenever I put it in reverse.

Regular maintenance schedule for a daily driver?

A lot of people swear by rotella diesel oil in your 4.0. I use it in my mail xj, (so extra severe duty,) and im up to 407k. I use a mobile 1 301a oil filter and change at 5k.

    Aftermarket gauge mounting

Yes, I would like oil pressure, water temp, volts, and eventually trans temp. Part of the problem is there just isn't much unoccupied space in the dash area. My problem specifically is since it's my mail jeep I've even more limited because I often have to keep stuff on my dash, and it's rhd so...

    Aftermarket gauge mounting

Anybody have good ideas on where to mount aftermarket gauges that looks good? I have my oil pressure gauge in the poverty panel next to the dash, but im going to swap that for a temperature gauge and mount my fan switches there. I would put it where the power point is but I like having my...

Cooling Fan Switch And Temp Sensor Recommendations

The one at the back of the head is extremely small. You probably won't be able to use it for any aftermarket parts.

    No reverse AW4

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe solenoids don't have anything to do with reverese and if you have enough fluid pressure for forward you should be able to go in reverese.
