I just shot a hand gun for the first time a few weeks ago. Went with the folks, sister and her husband. I shot a .22 first, wasn't too bad. Shot my BILs Desert Eagle AE .50 right afterwards. Wasn't as bad as I thought. Something about shooting a hand cannon that makes everyone else pause...

I need to check here more often. I made a team but now everyone who said they'd do it is backing out.:eyes: I paid so I'll be in Indiana November 19.

I'm in the same boat. Apparently it won't start and no one knows whats wrong with it. I'll have about 5 days to get it running while fighting a 9 hour time change, shouldn't be a problem :scared:

So I'm going! My folks will watch the little one and me, the wife, and our oldest will be there for Saturday. Sweetness! Is there a longest distance traveled award this year? I think Kuwait to Indiana might put me in the running :roll:

We've got a fussy 8 month old who would drive Grandma and Grandpa crazy in much less than three days. We're lucky that they'll watch the boys for one night so we can escape to Chicago.:D

Think my wife will mind me ditching her on my leave so I can go make it to the Eleventy?

Getting down to the final few weeks before my deployment. Wednesday was my last day at Menards so thats one less thing to worry about. I've been able to spend some quality time with the fam and the Jeep. Finally able to open all four doors with ease, and re-lined the headliner after it...

On their blog they said they'd open for other weekends for large groups. I'm not sure if other dates are better for more people, but later June would be better for me, at least.

Just found out that I've gotta work Friday-Sunday. :hang: I've only been working 7-12 hours a week and now all of a sudden they've got me working all weekend. WTH, for real. Can't wait to see all the pics and the fun I missed. :rattle:
