Yea I cleaned the ground strap form the body to the engine and it made it go up a little bit so I think the strap is bad so I’m going to replace it but
Please help. So on my 1987 Jeep cheorkee 4.0 my gauge will rise to about 180 and get stuck there and I know it’s running at 210 because I can get out after driving it and point my thermometer gun at it and it’s 210
So I tested tube gauge with a ground wire to the battery it shoots all the way...
So on my module the low speed set knob on the motherboard the solder is loose you can wiggle it and my mechanic said he can’t set it it will only increase the speed
I have a 1987 Jeep cheorkee and the tempature gauge will slowly go up and sit at about 180 it never goes over that I’ve identified that it’s operating tempature is 210 with a gun at the thermostat housing but the gauge just won’t go up to 210 I know for a fact that the engine is operating at 210...
hey so everything but the ground tests out good the ground was reading 47 ohms so i looked and it had almost come disconnected from the ground terminal on the dipstick i fixed the terminal and now its reading 37 ohms but everthing else has tested good all the volts everthything it used to work...
