Yea I cleaned the ground strap form the body to the engine and it made it go up a little bit so I think the strap is bad so I’m going to replace it but

Please help. So on my 1987 Jeep cheorkee 4.0 my gauge will rise to about 180 and get stuck there and I know it’s running at 210 because I can get out after driving it and point my thermometer gun at it and it’s 210 So I tested tube gauge with a ground wire to the battery it shoots all the way...

So on my module the low speed set knob on the motherboard the solder is loose you can wiggle it and my mechanic said he can’t set it it will only increase the speed

I don’t even know how that would work I put why in the the pan of water And how do I test the gauge ?

Do does the ground have to be connected to the dipstick

hey so everything but the ground tests out good the ground was reading 47 ohms so i looked and it had almost come disconnected from the ground terminal on the dipstick i fixed the terminal and now its reading 37 ohms but everthing else has tested good all the volts everthything it used to work...
