Has anyone used Iron Rock's ALmost Alloy system on their d30 axles shafts? Is it worth it? Does the joint and axle last longer? Have you removed the tabs and replaced the joint and how much of PITA was it grinding off the tabs?

I found a xj wagoneer. I know the rear axle is a 44. What is this? It has the lump in the cover like a 44, but it is not oblong. Is an old school D30? This axle is in the front of 87 Cherokee Wagoneer
